Login VSI is a software company that provides performance testing software for virtualized desktop environments such as Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Microsoft RDS and VMware Horizon View.
Login VSI is going to announce Login PI v2.1 in VMworld Barcelona which introduces new and highly anticipated predictive power to this fast-growing availability and performance testing solution.
What is LoginPI?
Login PI is an advanced VDI performance measuring system designed to help you deliver the best possible digital experience for your virtual desktop users—maximizing worker productivity while minimizing downtime and costly business interruptions. Login PI provides a new level of actionable, in-depth insights into the quality of your VDI’s digital experience that other solutions cannot match.
Login PI’s virtual user exists in your production environment and provides you with predictive insights on your availability, workload performance and uptime—reducing helpdesk tickets and ensuring the delivery of agreed upon SLAs.
Login PI is used to:
- Monitor the end user digital experience, without affecting end-user productivity
- Provide early warnings on performance, before they are experienced by end users
- Generate reports on historical data to identify trends, determine uptime, and comply with SLA requirements

Login VSI is going to announce newer version of Login PI as v2.1 in VMworld Barcelona which introduces new and highly anticipated predictive power to this fast-growing availability and performance testing solution.
Introducing Predictive Power in LoginPI v2.1
Login PI’s virtual users run their workflows on 24/7 in an extremely consistent manner, in which smallest variations in systems performance can be detected. When performance thresholds are exceeded or when logons/applications do not work as expected, alerts are automatically triggered. This allows administrators to detect user-experience problems after working hours while also helping them to minimize costly disruptions and downtime during working hours.
Login PI provides graphic representations of performance trends up to now, this new capability adds the option to generalise future trends (up to one month). This enables an even earlier warning system as the potential convergence of increasing latency trend lines and pre-defined thresholds can now be predicted in advance.

Eric-Jan van Leeuwen, CEO of Login VSI says, “The combination of our virtual user based 24/7 testing, using 100% consistent workloads, and this new prediction capability, will enhance performance and availability of virtualized desktop environments dramatically.”
The new predictive capability is available today in Login PI version 2.1. Existing Login PI users can upgrade to the new version for free here. New users can download a trial version of Login PI that includes the new capability here.
